Earlier this year, the company released an updated hardened wood 3.0 range with improved colours and technologies. A new Medium size was launched first, now followed by a Small. This half-size panel easily fit into cars and elevators and allow for creative designs. Later this year, Bjelin will release size Large, adding to the already popular XL and XXL planks.

Flexible flooring solutions
Packed with ground-breaking technologies by Bjelin’s sister company Välinge Innovation, the latest 3.0 range features both the Woodura® surface technology and the leakproof 5G® Dry™ floor-locking system.

Through the unique Woodura® formula, the surface becomes three times harder and more water- and dent-resistant. It’s also possible to vary the wood-based powder mix to create different surfaces. This way, Bjelin’s hardened wood floors are customised for both the residential and commercial sectors. The award-winning pro matt lacquer range is the latest addition and meets the unique demands of heavy traffic areas within hotels, restaurants, offices, shops – or busy households.

Sizes Small, Medium and Large are available in the pro matt lacquer, which is Bjelin’s best lacquer to date. The extremely durable surface makes the floor easy to maintain while protecting it from stains.

Wide planks are usually thick, but the Woodura® technology allows the floors to be wide, while still thin. The wide floor planks are ideal for creating a sense of space, while the smaller size floor panels might be better suited in smaller rooms where they can add more character.

Easy installation
Bjelin’s hardened wood range previously featured a patented 5G® locking system, developed by sister company Välinge Innovation – the inventor of the first mechanical floor-locking system. In the latest 3.0 range, this was updated to the leakproof 5G® Dry™ system.

This ensures a quick and easy installation with panels simply clicked into place. No glue, nails and sealants are needed. In the updated 5G® Dry™ version, watertight joins also prevent water from seeping through the seams and damaging the subfloor.
