Yepp

Yepp has both solid oak distressed floors and multi-layer floors in its range, in thicknesses of both 14 and 21mm (solid wood and multi-layer). The distressing processes are applied to solid wood and multi-layer tongue and groove systems, both in plank design and in herringbone and Hungarian point.

The most used distressed technique consists partly of mechanically distressing the visible surface and edges and partly applying procedures such as smoking or staining, which work into the tannic acid content in the oak. Due to the good reaction to smoking and staining, this distressing technique is used only with European oak.
