A new chapter in the Lalegno collection of distressed floors is the BARN collection, which was launched early this year during Domotex Hanover. As the name of the series suggests, the planks for these floors have been treated in such a way that they evoke the atmosphere of typical old wooden barns, which are well known from American western films. The wood from such barns is weathered and worn, but tough and unique. At Lalegno they distress the floors manually plank by plank to create an irregular pattern. Moreover, at Lalegno they also use various distressing tools and techniques (smoking, hand-scraping, sandblasting etc.).
