After 30 years of knowhow and focus on innovation, Parky made a real revolution in the world of wooden floors in 2020: the undeniable charm, authentic structure and lively look and feel of real wood was now combined with next-level durability - suitable for intensive commercial use - and a waterproof surface.

The secret lies in its well-thought-out structure.
First of all, Parky has a top layer of real wood. Wood is precious and therefore we use it sparingly, by slicing it into thin layers. Moreover, this wood only comes from sustainably managed forests.

To protect that wooden top layer Parky developed a unique technology which makes the floors ultra-strong.
On one hand, the top layer is pressed onto a high density fibre board (HDF), which makes the floors hugely impact-resistant and more stable than traditional parquet.
On the other hand, the wood is finished with our Titanium finish, that consists of eight robust layers of lacquer. This makes the floor even more resistant to daily wear and tear as well as scratches. Its usage class 33 stands for intensive commercial use whereby Parky floors are now also suitable for offices, hotels, retail stores, etc.

In addition, the Aqua Sealing Complete finish guarantees a 12 hour waterproof surface. The wood pores and bevels are protected right into the smallest corners from damp and dirt, which makes maintenance a piece of cake.

And so, Parky floors are ultra-strong and waterproof, but thanks to the super matt and brushed finish the natural feel and timeless elegance of wood are still preserved.
