Their love for wood takes nothing away from the fact that composite is also important. The main benefit there is that it is usually fully anti-slip in the rain, something which isn’t always the case with wooden profiles, not even with profiled terrace planks (unless they have a type of polymer with anti-slip material). The anti-slip feature is sometimes a benefit, such as, for instance, when composite is used in catering businesses. For that matter they have changed to a new system in composite, but this hasn’t yet yielded a higher turnover. They haven’t yet ventured to try thermowood, since they don’t yet have enough experience of this ‘new wood’ and its long-term effects.
