Tover

Sportive floorings are submitted to very intense use and wear; so in order to increase their lifetime before renovation, specific products and procedures must be regularly adopted. For ordinary frequent cleaning, Tover proposes Sporfloor Cleaner, a sanitizing detergent to wash the floor and remove dirt, sweat and marks. For a deeper cleaning against heavy dirt like grease or even pitch residues after volleyball games, Tover recommends Sportfloor Remover to be used to wash the surface.

For a periodical maintenance, a highly concentrated detergent, Sporfloor Cleaner N2 can be applied; it will remove black marks from shoes and wheelchairs and any other persistent spots and dirt. Besides its efficiency against dirt, it also helps to renew the antiskid properties of the surface. When renovation is necessary the first step is to sand the whole flooring to turn back to raw wood. Tover offers a complete waterborne system for sportive floors finishing in compliance with EN 14904 norm parameters. As first coat, it is recommended to apply Sportfloor Base 1K, a mono-component sealer, easy to apply on large surfaces and to sand. Once dry, after about three hours, it is sandable with a 220 grit net or a violet specific pad. The following operation is to define with an adhesive tape the lines and areas to be painted. Then Sportfloor Color, two-component paints available in many RAL colors must be applied in a single coat. After having removed the tape and when the paint is dry, the floor is ready for two coats of Sportfloor Finish, Tover two-component lacquer in conformity with the European norm in terms of antiskid properties, wear resistance and specular brightness. This lacquer has an extremely easy application and is particularly suitable for intense traffic.
